Founded in 1997 to standardize the certification process, WBENC is endorsed by corporations that recognize  the benefit to their communities of eliminating market barriers, and provides business support to America's women-owned and operated small businesses.

A stringent evaluation process performed by a local certifying partner assures that WBENC-certified companies satisfy the basic requirements of being truly a women-owned company. CMTI, Inc was officially certified as a WBE by the State of New Jersey in 1998. Underscoring the essence of the company, a woman represents 55% of the ownership.  Over 70% of its employees are women. The Chief Executive Officer, Accounting Manager, Customer Service Manager and Account Executives are all women.  Women contribute mightily at every level of the company. 

WBE is a valuable designation and provides many benefits to our clients.  Under the Unified Certification Act, Woman Business Enterprises share in major Set-aside programs and qualify as minority vendors.
